Keila grew up in a home where her mother worked 7PM to 3AM every night, leaving Keila battling loneliness and self-esteem issues without support. To compensate, Keila spent much of her time online, one night receiving a friend request from a man named “Ramiro”.

In time, Ramiro was able to groom Keila by making her feel wanted, special, and beautiful. He persuaded her to meet in-person, then began forcibly having sex with her night after night, all while convincing her he loved her. He deceived her into thinking they could get married if she earned money for the wedding by having sex with other men. Ramiro brought client after client into Keila’s home who paid to rape her while her mother was at work.

That was until, one day, neighbors became suspicious and alerted her mother of the number of strange men entering her home all hours of the night. Unable to safely stay in her mother’s home Keila moved to The Garden House until she was 19.
